SUMMARY

Job Description

Full-time:Previous experience working in commercial beekeeping necessary. We are seeking hard-working, committed, positive individuals, who are motivated by a career interest in sustainable apiculture to join our team. The candidates will be involved in many of the apiaries' daily operations, including managing bee colonies, assembling boxes, operating forklifts, harvesting and extracting honey, and many other tasks. Applicants should be comfortable with physical labor in various weather conditions; able to lift up to 50-60 lbs repeatedly; must be comfortable with stinging insects. Qualified candidates must be available to migrate for extended period of time, 4 to 5 months (housing available in GA and NY). Hours and schedules can range based on the time of season. Pollination season requires hours into late night/early morning; during honey production some weekends might be required. Must have a clean driving record.
