SUMMARY

Job Description

Planters' Choice is looking for a Spray Technician to work with our spray team to perform Integrated Pest Management practices at our Watertown tree farm, perennial grow area, and sales yard. This includes scouting for pest and disease issues, spraying plant material and fields at the direction of our IPM manager, and operating some heavy machinery over uneven terrain. Ideally the candidate will be able to move machines between farms and as such is comfortable driving larger farm trucks and equipment. Candidates should possess or be able to obtain a CT operator's license [PA, 3A, or 3d], should be able to life 50+ pounds and work in a fast paced environment outside in all weather conditions. $20-25/hr.
